BCCI shared Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 India Squad Names for the upcoming T20 World Cup. ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is set to start from 2nd June 2024. As per ICC rules, every team has to name their squad on or before 1st May 2024, and we already have the list!
There were so many speculations regarding which players would be selected. Many questions raised if Virat Kohli still fits in the squad. Who will open with captain Rohit Sharma? Who will be picked as WK? Who will be selected for the finisher role? All questions have their answers now. The big news for Virat Kohli fans is chase master has been selected for the upcoming T20 World Cup. Fans can witness Rohit & Virat together for another time in the blue jersey.
Looking at the recent form, BCCI has decided to keep Subhmam Gill in reserve. Rinku Singh is also kept as a reserve player. Selectors have also decided to play Rishabh Pant & Sanju Samson as WK in the upcoming T20 WC. Looking at the recent form, Shivam Dube has also been selected in the squad. Hardik Pandya will be the Vice Captain of this team for the upcoming T20 World Cup. Yuzi Chahal has been called for the first time in a T20 World Cup squad.
Overall BCCI selectors have tried to cover all positions with the current best players. Now it’s up to the players, to bring the T20 World Cup home this time.
