First Innings Summary :
Sunrisers Hyderabad had a decent start to the innings. SRH scored 56 runs in the power play losing the wicket of Abhishek Sharma. Mayank Agarwal getting a chance in the playing XI didn’t make any impact as he got out early. Well set Travis Head also got out to Piyush Chawla on 48(30). SRH’s middle order did not help today as Mumbai Indians kept things tight. Captain Pat Cummins scored a few quick runs towards the end of the innings. He scored 35 of just 17 balls which took SRH’s score to 173. Hardik Pandya & Piyush Chawla picked up 3 wickets each. Jasprit Bumrah & debutant Anshul Kamboj got 1 wicket respectively.
Second Innings Summary :
Mumbai Indians had to chase down 174 runs in 20 overs. Mumbai Indians were off to a flyer from the very first over as SRH bowlers gave away too many extras. Bit SRH made a comeback with 3 quick wickets in the power play. Mumbai Indians scored 52 runs inside the power play losing 3 big wickets. Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma kept fighting and built a match-winning partnership of 143 runs. After the power play, Mumbai Indians didn’t lose any wickets. Suryakumar Yadav hit a fantastic ton. He scored an unbeaten 102(51). Tilak Varma beautifully anchored the innings with his 37 off 32 balls. Mumbai Indians won the match by 7 wickets and 16 balls to spare. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Marco Jensen & Pat Cummins got 1 wicket each for SRH.
Suryakumar Yadav was named Player of the Match for his 102*(51).
